I Don't Want to Forget

I don't ever want to forget...

...your rosy cheeks when you get too warm..

...your precious smile..

...the adorable things you say...

~"specky" for spaghetti
~"wide job" for good job
~"snuck" for skunk (my personal favorite)
~"newvie" for movie
~"hemmit" for elephant (although you are growing out of this)
~"momose" for waffles (growing out of this one, too. *sniff, sniff*)
~"I share it?" when you want a toy that someone else has
~"Tuesday, Threesday, Foursday, Fivesday"
~"Fweese, pweese?" for please, please?

...your very serious side...

...how hard it is to make you smile for the camera... *sigh*

...that you hardly had any hair until you were over 2 years old...

Gilly, you are getting so big, so fast.
I hope I always remember this precious time in your life. You are such a sweet and tender hearted little girl. You are most definitely a precious gift that the Lord has given us and we love you more than words can say.

However, though no longer deceived, our experience of disillusionment may actually leave us cynical and overly critical in our judgment of others. But the disillusionment that comes from God brings us to the point where we see people as they really are, yet without any cynicism or any stinging and bitter criticism. Continue reading..
