Five Question Friday

1. What is your worst memory of your siblings?
Hmm... I'd have to say the worst memory (that I can think of right now) is when we were both in public school and my brother, who is 5 yrs younger than me, would get lost trying to find his bus! I would come out of school and he'd be standing there crying because he was so scared! :( Made me so sad!

2. What was YOUR naughtiest childhood memory? (Must be something YOU did, no pawning it off on someone else!)
Maybe not the naughtiest (you'd have to ask my parents - I'm sure they have a complete list), but it certainly was naughty and a bit funny - When I was 4-5yrs old, I would climb up on the kitchen counter before my parents woke up and scoop out sugar from the sugar bowl with half of a plastic egg and eat it!!! GROSS!!!!

3. Where do you like to go to relax?
There are several ways - a hot shower (of course), going out with friends or just sitting on the couch with my hubby watching a movie or reading a book. :)

4. What was the last thing you won?
I won some environmentally safe cleaners from a blog giveaway! :)

5. If you could be on a game show, which would you choose?
Well, present day it would have to be Wheel Of Fortune - I'm pretty good at that game when I'm sitting in my living room! :) If it was 20yrs ago or so I would've loved to have been on Press Your Luck!! Loved those WAMMIES!! HA!

Ten Reasons I {heart} Blogging

Blogging for me... (in no particular order)

3. is a creative outlet. (I'm going to stop changing my blog's design soon - I promise!)
4. is a fun way to meet people! I just recently "met" this girl, Mel! So sweet! :)
6. for social butterflies such as myself, it's a wonderful way to get a little "social" time in without leaving the house.
7. reading other blogs has taught me so much! Whether it's a closer peek into a friend IRL's life, finances, organizing, being intentional about my walk with the Lord, or just opening up my world a bit more.
8. sometimes it can makes me feel like I'm a part of something bigger than myself.
9. I'd like to think that other people are getting something out of it. :)
10. causes me to use my brain. Well, sometimes. :)

I've Been Thinking.. Don't Worry - I Didn't Hurt Myself...

Here's the thing. I've been going back and forth in my mind about whether I should continue blogging.

I was talking to someone recently and they made a comment that makes me wonder if what people read is the same as what I'm trying to say.

My question then is, does it matter if what I'm trying to say is interpreted wrong?

Well, does it? Punk? teehee.

Have I been too negative on my blog????

See, that's where it gets tough for me.

I could post only happy go lucky, gives you the warm fuzzies posts. Which is fine and a lot of blogs do that.

But that just isn't me.

That just isn't life.

Not that life isn't wonderful and to be honest, I have absolutely, positively NO COMPLAINTS. At all.

I have a beautiful daughter, wonderful husband and a Saviour who loves me unconditionally. That is all I need. :)

But there are days when my house is messy, I'm lacking in patience or am feeling inadequate. Should I not post about those days? I don't know. Maybe not.

Maybe those things are better left unsaid.

What do you think? If you're a blogger, do you prefer to leave out the negative stuff? Why or why not?

If you're not a blogger, would you rather see less about the bad days and more about the good days?
