Five years ago today Aaron and I were standing on a beach in Kauai, Hawaii saying our wedding vows.
It was beautiful. The sun was shining, there was a gentle breeze and the sand was cool between our toes.
It was practically perfect in every way. *sigh*
Little did we know the struggles we would face in the first couple of years, as many couples do I'm sure.
But thankfully and by the grace of God, those struggles have made us stronger.
"..A cord of three strands is not easily broken." Ecc 4:12
Being married isn't always easy, but nothing in life worth anything is ever easy.
I can honestly say that I love Aaron more and more every day.
I may not say that when I'm picking up his socks for 345th time. But you know what I mean.
I'm pretty sure I have some faults, too. I just can't think of any right now. teehee.
My friend, Emily, stood up with us. And also buried me in the sand.
But deep in my soul I know that we were meant for each other, and with Jesus as the center of our relationship, there's nothing we won't be able to go through together.
This was our favorite resturaunt. They had excellent burgers!!
There's incredible peace that comes with knowing that.
I know that Aaron will always be there. For me and for his children.
