Never say "Never" Part 1

(this photo doesn't have to do with anything - I just love it.)

Read Part 2, Part 3 & Part 4

I've thought a lot lately about things that I've done in my life that I said I would never do...

~I said I could never live in a small town - it would feel to claustrophobic!! The town I live in? Population: 650.

~I have always hated the color pink. And if/when I had a little girl, she would never wear pink. Not sure I thought this one through - did I really think I would be buying every piece of clothing for her?! She is pretty much head to toe pink most of the time.

~I never wanted to make my home in a state where there's winter.

~I also wanted to live as far from my home town as possible. We just bought a house a few months ago. In Wisconsin. And it is less than 10 miles from my home town. *sigh*

~I never wanted to get married. (I went through a short phase of this in my later teen years.) Obviously that didn't happen either.

Isn't it funny how you can think you know what you want. But thank God, He knows what I need.

I need Aaron. I need my little girl (pink clothes and all). Ok, not sure if need to be living in Wisconsin, but you get the point.

Well, I guess I do. If I want to stay married, that is! Ha!

What things have you said you would never do?

  1. I'm glad I'm not the only one who does this! I also said I would never live in "The Beige" (flyover country) and here I am in the Midwest...and it's not so bad. :)
