Works for Me!!

I read about this idea quite some time ago in the book, Organic Housekeeping, (great book, btw) and I have been doing it since.

You just take the plastic mesh bag, that onions come in, for example, and cut it into strips. You then wrap it around a sponge. Done.

This saves me SO much money! I'm not a huge fan of using dishclothes to wash my dishes, but I always felt so bad about spending $4 on 3 sponges at the store!!! (I like the scrubbie ones.)

So, now I buy a bag of sponges (usually has at least 10 in it) for a BUCK at the dollar store, and wrap my little plastic mesh thingy around it and - voila!! The perfect scrubbie sponge!!
