Ok, this might seem totally insane, but while I was pregnant, I had decided that I wanted to use cloth diapers instead of disposables. Well, needless to say, it didn't really work out. We don't have a washer and dryer where we live, and so, to me, it seemed like it would impossible. I know there are some people that do it, but I had a hard enough time as a new mom... it just wouldn't have worked.
But now, we'll be buying a home next week, *doing happy dance*, and we will have a washer/dryer *doing happy dance again*, so I'm going to try and save up and start using some cloth diapers!! YAY! :)

ReplyDeleteI didn't get to talk with you yesterday, so I wanted to say, "Hi". I found your blog on Dana's. I used cloth diapers for Preston for a few months. Shawn didn't like them at all, but I didn't mind, except when we went places I found it easier to us disposables.
It is worth the investment especially if you plan on having more babies.
Congratulations!!! on the house :) That is so exciting. Where is it at? It will be a good packing weekend--rainy.

Thanks for the CDing info!!! :) I think I'll prob usind disposables "as needed", too. But, I think just cutting down a little on them will be nice. :)
